Lionesses stalwart Fara Williams has accrued more caps than any other England player, currently leading the way with 170 appearances for the national side.
She was an integral figure in Hope Powell's midfield ranks as England headed into the 2007 Women's World Cup, having won the FA's Player's Player and International Player of the Year awards just four months earlier.
She featured in all three of England's group games, converting a penalty in the 6-1 thrashing of Argentina, but was suspended for the quarter-final tie against the US, and was powerless to help her teammates as they succumbed to a 3-0 defeat.
