Reverend William
Bree was born in Allesley, near Coventry and studied at Oxford University,
where he became friends with Heneage Finch, Fourth Earl of Aylesford. Bree and
Finch were both accomplished amateur watercolour painters. This view in grey
wash, shows humble farm buildings in a woodland setting.
