Composition in black and brown. Lines defining contours and shading setting volume. Fr Anchieta study, suggesting that the support has been cut. Figure occupies the whole height of the stand is standing profile and to the left. Head bulge on the back, flat on top, slicked-back hair, broad forehead with boss, straight brow background eye facing the front, long nose, lips closed and prominent chin. The neck is short and wide and is covered with the part of the tailpiece which is the cloth with wide folds and is loose. Sees on the left arm along the body with fallen hand, whose fingers are well defined, except for the thumb that is not visible. Background in brown tone.
