Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar have been an innovative duo in the contemporary dance world for years. Their multidisciplinary approach leads to creations in which movement, sound, and lighting stand side by side, exceeding the borders of ‘traditional’ contemporary dance. With their work Eyal and Behar create worlds in which physicality takes on ritualistic, hypnotic and highly impressive shapes. In 'FEELINGS' for NDT 2, a single female dancer performs fragile, abrupt movements while a troop of nine dancers face her as a resilient, hunched over mass. The piece, on dark, jazzy sounds and rhythmic drums, ends abruptly, with a meticulous male duet.
