This figure was handmade using fine, grey clay. She is solid, with a head on an irregular, prism-shaped body with a square cross section. This figure was not originally freestanding: it has been broken at the top left, but was previously connected to something else. The flat bottom makes it easier to stand upright. The crude human features were created using incision, except for the two small protrusions representing breasts, where two small pieces of clay have been applied. The nose has been gently pinched into shape. The simple mouth is denoted by a U-shaped slit. The figure has two holes for eyes. She is wearing a necklace represented by 11 holes in a line around her neck. There is no hint of a hairdo, arms, or legs. The latter may be hidden if she is wearing long attire.
