The sculpture represents a standing femenine figure whose features are a mixture of human and animal. The woman is opening her arms in the form of a cross, while she moves her hip towards one side, creating the sensation that she is performing a kind of dance. Although it is modelled in clay, the piece is covered with a piece of fabric that allows the form of the body to show through. It appears that these types of sculptures were used in initation ritual, in this case feminine.
