A glazed fern case illustrated in a catalogue of goods manufactured and supplied by W Cooper. Horticultural Provider of 755 Old Kent Road, London.
Gift of Mr and Mrs P Carr from the collection of the donors' father, William Carr (1895-1969), who started his career as a gardener's boy on a big estate in Reigate, but lost leg in World War I and became watchmaker.
