I have a habit of tapping, sometimes without even noticing. Also during lockdown I have taken part in some Zoom tutting lessons and love the small movements with your hands so that inspired some of the movement.

This piece was made as part of Dancefest's challenge to make a #HalfAMinuteMovie, a 30-second film that rather than focusing on what lockdown had stopped you from doing was inspired by a new skill, a first, an exhilarating new experience, or a life lesson learnt at home.

The work was created as part of Arts Council England's The Way I See It project which captures the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on the lives of children and young people, articulated in their own voices, through their own creativity.

Dancefest is a community dance development organisation in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, using the power and joy of dancing to enhance people's lives.
