Fierce Fiona

“Fierce Fiona” was painted when I was going through a difficult time, to represent the strength
of women and the strength that I found within myself. It is my hope that this piece empowers
other women to find their strength as well. The piece was named for one of my best friends’
daughters, who was born when I was going through this period of time. It now watches over
her crib in her nursery, and will serve as a reminder of her own strength throughout her life.
