The object is a suggestive of an animal. It has an inverted pot forming the torso , a long hose-pipe for the neck of the animal. It is a figure of a seated horse (behan ) known as Himaryo. It is used as a votive figure ."Himaryo represents in a sense the culmination of the usuage of utensils in the terracotta idiom - the pot still retains the form of a pot, though inverted with just the addition of the neck and the leaf like mane" from Living Traditions of India (pg 103) by Haku Shah .
