The Hindu God Vishnu is often shown with his hands resting on anthropomorphic representations of his divine weapons. This rare depiction shows a dwarf-like figure called Chakrapurusha. He represents Vishnu's sacred discus and would have once stood beside a larger statue of Vishnu. This relatively large bronze sculpture may signify the gradual decline of Buddhism and the rise of Hinduism in the region.
