In the 1930s and 1940s, the company that produced Lincoln Logs construction sets also offered other building toys and play sets. Capitalizing on the name of the 16th president, the Chicago toy maker made wooden Lincoln Bricks, Lincoln Stones, Lincoln Barnyards, and other building sets. It also manufactured metal Lincoln Log Figuressimilar to toy soldiersto populate the buildings once they were built.
