Terracotta figure of a masked comic actor, impersonating a slave with a baby in swaddling clothes in his arms. Representations of comic characters are frequently attested in Tarentine funerary objects from this period. They may have had a symbolic meaning linked to the wearing of masks and the rituals of the Dionysian cult.
