Figured terracotta

Polychrome terracotta figure of a juggler or a dancer, dressed only in a short tunic and a pointed cap. The facial features and clothing make it possible to recognise a foreigner of servile status. Dancers, acrobats and jugglers performed in public spectacles of a local nature or in private events related to symposia.
