Pendant in the form of heart, in gilded silver filigree and enamel, with hoop for suspension. The "goldsmith's art collection" of the Popular Art Museum results, to a large extent, from acquisitions made by the Bureau for National Propaganda (Secretariado de Propaganda Nacional) to several shops in Lisbon, who, in turn, purchased those items directly from their makers in the North of Portugal. Such acquisitions, including this specimen of enlarged format, were made from 1935 and 1940 and were displayed in the folk art exhibitions made in several countries throughout the 1930s, as well, in 1940, in the "Exhibition of the Portuguese World".
