Film poster for the Hindi film 'Arth' (Meaning), released in the year 1982.

The poster, made with usin multiple photographic cut outs features the main characters from the film. Towards the top right corner is a half-length image of the character Kavita, played by Smita Patil. To the left of this image is a cut out image of the characters Kavita and Pooja (Shabana Azmi) engaged in a tiff. Below these images, bust-length cut outs of three characters are present. From left to right, first comes the image of the character Raj, played by Raj Kiran. Next to this is an image of the character Pooja and in the end is Inder, played by Kulbhushan Kharbanda. Below these images, the film credits are printed inside a yellow rectangular background as 'DIRECTION', next line; 'MAHESH BHATT', 'MUSIC', next line; 'CHITA & JAGJIT SINGH', 'PRODUCED BY', next line; 'KULJIT PAL'. On the extreme top of the poster towards the left is text reading 'RITA PAL PRESENTS', next line; 'ARTH' (English). In the centre, 'ANU ARTS' is printed. This entire composition of images and text is contained inside a blue and then a black line border.
