The film poster that seems hand-painted features the main characters of the film. In the top half of the poster, there is a half-length image of the iconic character Don, played by Amitabh Bachchan. Below the images of these two characters is a painted image showing a scene of crime/fight, with silhouettes of humans and cars visible in the image. Below this image is the film title in Devanagari. Below the title, towards the bottom left corner is a bust-length image of the character Jasjit/JJ, played by Pran.

In the image, he is also holding a revolver. Towards the bottom right corner is a bust length image of the character Roma, played by Zeenat Aman, who is also pointing a revolver towards the front. The aiming point of her revolver is enlarged in the space between her image and Pran's. There is an overlapping image of the character Don on the aiming circle.
