Made with the cut and paste technique that uses photographic cut outs, the poster features the three male lead characters, Ahmed Raza (Amitabh Bachchan), Mohan Saxena (Shashi Kapoor) and Kabir Das (Sanjeev Kumar) and the female character Durga (Rekha). In the poster's frame, there is a half-length cut out of the character Mohan on the left half in which he is carrying a gun in his hands. On the right half is a half-length portrait of the character Ahmed, who is carrying a rifle with both his hands. In the middle is a cut out of the character Kabir Das, who is holding out two thick books in his hands. The image features Durga on the right hand side and a group of construction workers arranged in a queue in the rest of the frame. Towards
