Film still for the Hindi film 'Dahej' (Dowry), released in the year 1952.

The still shows the female lead of the film, Chanda, played by Jayashree. The still is possibly from the song 'Ambua Ki Daari Pe Bole Re Koyaliya' (A Cuckoo Sings on a Mango Tree) in which Chanda is dressed as a bride and has been captured in half- length view while singing. She is decked in jewellery and a heavily embellished lehenga, blouse and dupatta. She is standing in a side profile view with her left hand held up high. Her right hand is held by another hand (possibly her husband Suraj, played by Karan Dewan). In the background, there is a painting of a man and a woman in an intimate moment.
