Final Day LakheRitual

A day after the eight-day Indra Jatra Festival formally ends, Lakhe mask with its attire is placed to its throne and worshipped for one last time as a final ritual. It is offered with shamhya baji(legumes). A guardian of Lakhe puts the mask away and all back into its chest and leaves the house until next year. Public viewing is not allowed during this session.
