A gold and lapis lazuli ring dating to c.1800. The ring is engraved on the shoulder and around the band with a delicate scroll on a background of fine parallel lines. The lapis lazuli stone is set into a shield shaped cartouche and engraved with the cipher 'AWY.' The ring shows some signs of wear.
