First order of the columns of the Portico of Glory

For the Portico of Glory, Master Mateo, decided to apply a different architectural unit for the rest of the cathedral, in this area the architectural unit was reduced in order to overlap the two different kinds of columns. The first of them would be composed mostly by columns with smooth shafts of granite, they are arranged in threesome on each side of the central arch, and in pairs in the lateral arches.
