First Prize Winner at the Finals with FIU Orchestra

For the finals of the 6th National Chopin Piano Competition, the Florida International University Orchestra was lead by Maestro Tadeusz Strugala, the world renowned Polish conductor. That year only Brenda Huang chose the 2nd Concerto (F minor Op. 21); all of the other finalists performed the 1st Concerto in E minor, including the winner, Ning An, pictured here with the FIU Orchestra and Maestro Strugala.
