First page of logbook for Iceland's first telegraph station. It includes a transcript of the first telegram recieved 23. August 1906. "How is the construction of the landline to Reykjavík going? Does Seyðisfjörður have telephone connections to other places, - which ones? Are you ready to open the cable? Do you still need Bruhn?" The anwer - " The landline to Reykjavík should be ready by the middle of September. Seyðisfjörður doesn't have any connections to other places yet. Please send Bruhn as fast as possible."
