Fish fossils from Bernissart Amiopsis dolloi

The excavations in Bernissart brought to light about 3,000 fish, many of which lives in the marshes.

Amiopsis dolloi (25cm long) resembled the contemporary Amia calva, a swamp fish found in the Everglades, in Florida (USA).
