Two flags, cotton, white, purple, green, stained, rips at lower and upper edges, produced by the Women's Social & Political Union (WSPU), found on Emily Wilding Davison's body after she fell under the King's horse at the Epsom Derby. Handwritten labels sewn to flags read 'One of the 2 flags found on Emily Wilding Davison's body when she stopped the Kings' horse while running the Derby Race 4th June 1913. Presented by Rose Lamartine-Yates'.
