"Flamenquita is an educational show for children, co-produced by the Instituto Andaluz del Flamenco and performed in Larache, Morocco.

The expansion, development and diffusion of flamenco goes beyond its places of origin. It involves artistic encounters that go beyond the physical borders of Andalusia and even Spain. It has become a global and transnational phenomenon, open to new trends, an influential and paradigmatic protagonist of an intercultural dialogue without which it cannot be understood.

The Andalusian education system has incorporated the teaching of flamenco into the curriculum of compulsory education, so that boys and girls have a basic knowledge of this cultural heritage from an early age. These activities include attending shows created especially for them.
