This flask in chalcedony glass with greenish-blue nuances has an elongated pear shape. An oddity is that it lacks the rings normally required when travelling. The neck is closed by a screw stopper of brass.
“Chalcedony glass” was one of the many kinds of opaque and variegated glass made by blending metal oxides with the glass paste to imitate semi-precious stones (agate, chalcedony, onyx, malachite, lapis lazuli or jasper).
