This is a representative work of the Yoshidaya kiln that inherited the qualities of Ko-kutani while also breaking new ground. Its background is coated with yellow stippling, and its overall form of a perfect circle suggests a full moon. In the foreground are large flowering lilies, inviting the eyes of viewers to gaze into an elegant, expansive scene.
