During two sessions of two hours each, Gabriel Baggio will learn to carve a flower in wood from a carpenter and wood carver. The performance takes place in the context of learning different crafts such as marquetry, crochet knitting, use of the sewing machine, sweeping of metal sheets to make copper pots, food from different cultures and a lift fishing net, among others.
In an increasingly specialized and media-influenced world, the fascination for the handicraft of certain activities goes beyond the purely aesthetic, where artists honor the manual ability of some people to develop their own resources for survival. The audience will get to observe the process of learning a craft and interact both with Baggio and the master carver.
