Flora-Ann ware purple vase

Flora-Ann ware purple vase (1951-1972) from Robertsham, Johannesburg. Flora-Ann was established in Robertsham by RR Verity. The history of Flora-Ann is somewhat enigmatic. Its designer was G Woolley and it employed 30 African staff. The company was acquired by Silwood Ceramics in 1962, which was subsequently purchased by Liebermann Pottery and Tiles.
