Plaster cast of a controversial original, an 18th century model on an ancient statue or an ancient statue with drapery retouched in the Baroque period, so as to make a convincing attribution impossible, preserved at the Capitoline Museums. The Bolognese cast, of good workmanship, a gift from Benedict XIV, is attributable to the mid-eighteenth century. In 1744, at the time of the entry of the original statue to the Capitoline Museum, casts are taken for the French Academy and for the Pontiff, this series could also date back to the example described here.
