Flora's Retinue: Poppy

Small square doily, fringed on all sides, with an ivory linen warp and an olive ground. A figure of a woman dressed as a poppy with and sitting on the stem of a large poppy, with the word POPPY in the upper left corner, all appearing in ivory on an olive ground. A set of six, the doilies would have been used on the table as part of a dessert service.
