Part of the Kraków photography series taken by Leszek Dziedzic in the late 1970s; Floriańska, a grand old street leading to the Main Market Square in Kraków’s Old Town. Floriańska extends into the so-called “G–H Line”, which encompasses frontages of townhouses stretching from Mariacki Square to Grodzka Street, including the brick Gothic Saint Mary’s Basilica (Kościół Mariacki). This photograph shows the opposite direction - towards Floriańska Gate, behind which the Kraków Barbican is located.
