Fluorapatite on Albite - Pulsifer Quarry, Auburn, Androscoggin Co., Maine

This is an early days specimen collected by original owner Pitt Pulsifer for which the quarry is still named. It demonstrates the deep and much sought after purple color that has made fluorapatites from the Pulsifer Quarry world famous.
The specimen measures 11cm wide.
