The title resembles the famous Noah’s Ark. In the film, although people and animals fly up endlessly, their actions are not depicted as light and airy, but rather hustled and almost falling down. Their final destination is never revealed to us, as if they are just eager to escape from the ground. The absurd plots reveal artist’s deep concerns for the world and our civilization, rendered in heavy and melancholic atmosphere.
