This is a fly whisk made by a craftsmen. The giraffe tail is cut and by using a band from a cow tail, it is adjoined to a short stick which acts as a handle. At the end of the handle, a hole is made where a leather thong is fixed to it. It is used by a respectable elders as fresh air and to drive away insects from getting near them.
