A document presented within a manila folder and fastened with two paper binders and a pin. Adhered card label on cover is entitled: AVERAGES/CLAXTON SHIELD/1961/S.A. This compilation of state baseball team and individual player statistics for the 1961 Claxton Shield Competition was used by Australian Baseball Council Honorary Secretary, Jack Ellis. The South Australian State Baseball team won the Shield that season.
