Folk Music at the Ceremony

Holi, the ancient Indian Festival of Colours is celebrated across the country in a variety of ways. The Spring festival of Yaoshang in Manipur begins after sunset in villages with the Yaoshang Mei thaba. Folk music is performed at the ceremony before the burning of the hut.
