FONDAZIONE RUBELLI - Rubelli fabrics in La Fenice Theatre in Venice

In 2003 Rubelli donates all fabrics for the La Fenice Theatre in Venice, rebuilt after the disastrous fire of 1996. It was possible to reproduce the fabrics present before the fire thanks to samples of the fabrics made by Rubelli in the 1930s for the restoration of the La Fenice Theatre that was carried out at that time. These samples were kept in the Rubelli Historical Archive, now part of the Fondazione Rubelli textile collection
