Formalhaut is a West German team comprised of architects Gabriela Seifert, Götz Stöckmann, and artist Ottmar Hörlat. The exhibition features an installation of 100 toy robots that “performed” during the opening. Other projects of Formalhaut took the form of temporary installations that alter the perceptions of space and scale. Through constructions, the team seeks to challenge the presuppositions of the built environment. The exhibition also includes Volker Fischer's videos of a lecture at the Deutsches Architeturmuseum in Frankfurt. Other works are Formalhaut's object “Double Knight Game” and photo documentation of projects.
