Former Central Electricity Generating Board (The Pavilions), Bristol

Former Central Electricity Generating Board (The Pavilions), Bristol, built in 1975-8, has been listed at Grade II as it is an interesting example of an environmentally friendly ‘campus style’ office building built by Arup Associates. The building has survived well and retains bespoke fixtures and fittings of high quality. Its low-energy and environmentally friendly design relied on advanced design and engineering techniques.
