Fort Moultrie's Sally Port, Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie National Historical Park, South Carolina

Fort Moultrie's Sally Port, or main entrance, is where visitors begin their exploration of our timeline. Fort Moultrie represents the entire history of static sea cost defense in the United States. This fort, the third named Moultrie, shows visitors how fortifications and artillery changed from 1809-1947. Exhibits take the story back to 1776 and the Revolutionary War.
