Musée des Confluences

Musée des Confluences
Lyon, France

Towards the end of the Jurassic era, about 150 million years ago, the position of the continents was different. Europe was mostly covered by water and its climate was hot and dry. There was a tropical lagoon bordered by small coral islets sixty kilometres to the northeast of the musée des Confluences.
