In this photograph the Imperial Family was found on the balcony of the Princess Isabel's house in Petrópolis and was taken in May 1889. It is considered one of the last records of the Imperial Family in Brazil. In November of this same year, after the Proclamation of the Republic on the 15th, they leave for exile.
