Four Young Men Drinking Coffee or Tea

In addition to formal events at court, Céphas also photographed informal scenes from everyday life. These young men are placed in a studio setting and drink coffee or tea. Their postures and movements come across as very easy and natural and they may in fact be Céphas’ own sons
or assistants.
