Foxtrot

After visiting Paris in 1927 Eduard Ole's handwriting, which before cultivated a cubist-constructivist nature, became more realistic and elegant. The ink drawings from that period – inspired by the dynamic and sparkling metropolitan life and the foxtrot dancing cafés – have the linear flexibility, refinement and vigorous artistry characteristic of art déco.
