According to the shape, it is deduced to be part of the banner foot. The one edge of the fragment is sewed with red threads, and the other edge has salvage. Its vivid red color was dyed from Japanese madder. There are many fragments designed with small spots made by tie-dyeing and are usually dyed with one color.
