Fragment of a Mihrab

This fragment of a prayer niche (Mihrab) with floral décor and calligraphy is probably from a mosque in a palace complex in Ghazni. While the inscriptions around the niche are written in strict Kufic style, the outer writing is designed in the characteristic style of “floral Kufic”.
