  • Viewing Notes: The steps in making 1962-50-259:1. The elements began at the five points at the top, came together to form the wing-like shape, and new elements were added for the two points. At the bottom, the elements were gathered as a tight group curved to the right. The bobbins were left hanging.2. The body-like shape began at seven points at the top and at the wing tips. At the bottom the elements of this shape are interworked with those of the first shape. Excess bobbins were cut off and the remaining worked curved to the right and left hanging.3.,4.,5., Successive shapes were added in the same manner.-From Lace Exhibition, August 3 - November 7, 1982
